Position: Social Media Assistant – Part Time or Casual.

Hours: 16 – 24+ hours per week with the opportunity to grow.

Location: Remote, work from home. Applicant must be based within a 1 – 1.5hr radius of Camden/Macarthur, Australia. This is so we can train in person and attend team events together.

👩‍💻 WHAT OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE:

Our perfect candidate has experience coordinating social media accounts or is currently studying marketing, communications or graphic design at Uni, wanting to build their career.

They’re social media literate, can navigate all aspects of Meta and TikTok, and are across every trend happening right now. They’re the first to think of a funny content idea and obsessed with social media. 

They are naturally very creative, forward thinking [cause we all know how fast the algorithm or a platform changes in the blink of an eye], SUPER organised, obsessed with planning and have an incredible eye for detail. 

Most importantly, our dream candidate has a LOVE for being a part of a brands journey to success, and wants to be part of a team culture that is progressive, supportive, and offers the opportunity for career growth 🙌

 
🎉 WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

You’ll be assisting the team in the coordination of client accounts, including tasks like community management and scheduling content.

You will also assist with other ad-hoc tasks that arise, like copywriting, content editing, reporting and more.

If we love your vibe, you’ll also have the potential opportunity to coordinate your own client’s accounts as well. This will likely include:

  • Assistance in strategy development.

  • Create content like Instagram Reels, stories and so on for your clients content calendar.

  • Community management,

  • Schedule and post content.

  • Create reports.

  • Communication and collaboration with clients.

  • Perform other tasks and duties as may be required.

 
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS:
  • Strong familiarity with business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc).

  • Knowledge of project management software like Google, Asana, Slack and Harvest.

  • Video editing, photo editing and copywriting.

  • Understanding of social media metrics – able to interpret results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media efforts.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, can confidently communicate with clients.

  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to prioritise activities and complete tasks in an efficient manner. 

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • The ability to use your initiative, work unsupervised and make quick decisions.

  • A quick learner who is highly motivated to achieve results.
