This Sydney-based florist is a big name in flowers, operating within the eCommerce floral, gift and plant delivery space.

Coming to TMG with an already epic cult following and customer base, the team had been experimenting with boosting Instagram posts to generate awareness and social engagement.

With so much on their plate in the day-to-day running of their business, they didn’t have the time to invest in understanding ads themselves, nor the know-how to set up and run a funnel.

Moving their bricks & mortar store, the client was concerned about maintaining revenue while losing foot traffic.

They also had no sales funnel set up to reflect the powerhouse floral business they were running, so this was a chance for us to start from scratch.

Strategy

We decided to leverage Sydney’s lockdown and focus our messaging on brightening up someone’s day.

Promoting the ease of ordering online and fast delivery, we built out a funnel that prospected a cold broad and interest-based audience throughout Sydney.

Refreshing the copy and creative to suit the latest trends in floral/plants/gifting to leverage want  is hot, with lots of video creative to showcase how beautiful the product is!

We dedicated a large portion of the client’s ad spend budget to their warm (and very loyal) audience, retargeting through dynamic ads that targeted abandoned carts, or those who had viewed and not purchased.

Results/Key Stats

We saw fantastic results through the warm audience particularly, and a whopping 12.02% conversion rate.

From a Facebook ad spend of $14,652, the florist saw a huge $211,360 in revenue; or a 14.42 return on ad spend. There’s no denying that’s money well spent!
